“As an artist, I am tuned into the act of translating thoughts, ideas, moods, memories, and sensations into a tangible expression that can be interpreted differently by anyone who experiences it. I have so much gratitude for being able to use creativity in this way — to express who I am. As an abstract painter I explore textures, colors and light reminiscent of my vibrant memories as a young girl in Mexico City.

My paintings are modern, abstract and a tactical expression of my creative energy, often influenced by my travels and the experience of being a foreigner who relies on solely visual cues to grasp the culture when I’m in a country where I do not speak the language. What’s especially rewarding is helping otherpeople find the way toward their own expression of creativity.
